Drop off at the lab in London
Our lab is on Willow Walk in Bermondsey, London SE1. Visits are by appointment so an engineer is free to talk you through the diagnosis.

How to pack a drive
- Power the device down. Don't try it "one more time" before posting.
- Put the bare drive in an anti-static bag, or a clean sealed food bag if you don't have one.
- Wrap it in at least 5cm of bubble wrap so it can't move, and use a sturdy box, not a padded envelope.
- For RAID or NAS, label every disk with its bay or slot number and send all of them together.
- Include a note with your name, phone number, email and a description of the fault.

Common questions
Do you charge more outside London?
No. Prices are the same everywhere in the UK. You arrange and pay for postage to the lab; return delivery is agreed with your quote.
Is it safe to post a failed drive?
Yes, if it's packed properly in a sturdy box with plenty of padding and sent by a tracked, insured service. Don't use a padded envelope.
